I have been fortunate enough to be published many times during the past several years. Additionally, I was honored to have an article and art published about how my precious 17-year-old daughter fought for her life and died a hero in my eyes. You'll find it in the Melange section, page 50, in Somerset Studio, May/June 2008. As difficult as it was to write, it is a wonderful way to memorialize one who had so much life yet to live. I miss our daughter every day, and will do so until I see her again.
